I was just looking at some of my old posts, and it sounds like a different person wrote them. Not only do the concepts seem foreign to me right now, but the writing style seems odd. Have I evolved or devolved?
Or deepened...? Ah, who knows.
Anyhoo, I did quit caffeine. For the most part. I stopped drinking hot tea for weeks, then had one yesterday and one today. I can honestly say that I'm okay with that.
I am aware that last night's kept me from falling asleep easily, so I know now not to drink tea at night. But sometimes, a hot morning cup of black tea and a good book in the quiet morning hours is too nice a picture to mess with.
There's a lota "Now" in those moments.

I go to bed at night thinking about my morning tea. Wish I could drink it at night.... oh well. I'm out of Jasmine and Earl Grey, down to the Gunpowder Green. It's not quite the same, but still good. Here's to slurping hot tea in the morning and grokking our oneness with the All!
